SakinaPath

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Your relationship with the Quran is personal. We built SakinaPath to respect that: we collect the minimum needed to run the service, and nothing more.

1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address and a securely hashed password. As you use SakinaPath we store your learning data: lesson progress, quiz results, habits and check-ins, daily task completions, XP and activity dates. That is all — we do not collect your location, contacts, or anything from other apps.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used for one purpose: to run your personal learning experience — showing your progress, calculating streaks and levels, and restoring your account when you sign in. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.

3. Cookies

SakinaPath uses a single essential cookie: an encrypted session token that keeps you signed in. It expires after 30 days or when you sign out. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

4. Payments

Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider; SakinaPath never sees or stores your full card number. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status and its expiry date.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by writing to privacy@sakinapath.com — we will remove it within 30 days and confirm by email.

6. Security

Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes. Sessions are signed with industry-standard JWT encryption. Access to production data is restricted to the core team and used solely for operating the service.

7. Children

SakinaPath is suitable for all ages, but accounts for children under 13 should be created and supervised by a parent or guardian.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and highlight the changes on this page before they take effect.
